About the alcove
The Alcove, located at the Ewing Public Library, is a place made for young adults. With soft, multi-use furniture young patrons can unwind with a good book, hang out with their friends, or work on projects in a space that is just for them.
With this website, the Alcove goes beyond just a physical space in the library. Teens can connect and share their ideas in a way that is familiar and engaging, as well as educational.
Making reading fun and interesting with our online book discussions, events, programs, and contests is the ultimate goal of the Alcove.
Libraries are no longer just buildings with old, dusty books. They are an oasis of literary treasures, digitized communities of discussion and socialization, and a source of inspiration hidden in every nook, corner, and alcove.
